Describe one way you compare and contrast in a book you’re reading at home.
When you compare, you tell how two things are alike.
When you contrast, you tell how two things are different.
Use the following post as an example:
This morning, I read a book called The Pain and The Great One, by Judy Blume. The boy and the girl in the book are different because they are different ages. The boy and the girl are alike because they both think their parents love the other sibling more!

I compared and contrasted The Lightning Thief to Harry Potter. They are alike because the both have people with special powers. They are different because in Harry Potter they are wizards and in The Lightning Thief they are sons and daughters of the Greek gods.

In the book THE KILLING SEA one thing
that you can compare and contrast is
the two children in the story are difrent because one is looking for his
father and the other one for a doctor.

In my book one thing I can compare is the fox and the cat in pinocchio they are both sneaky and are friends. One thing I can contrast is the other puppets have strings and pinocchio doesn't have strings. That is my compare and contrast in my book.

I was reading a book called the Lightning Thief and in the story there is a girl that always picks on Percy Jackson and that girl reminds me of my sister when she always picks on me and im the person who gets picked on.The different ways is that the girl is a classmate and my sister is a relative. The second different thing is that Percy Jackson is half blood wich meens he has powers and im just a normal kid.

In my book My Sister The Vampire the two main characters are Ivy and Oliva. One way the two are alike is that they both are twins with a sence of humor.One way the are different is that Oliva is a regular human being and Ivy is vampier. Ivy dosn't suck human blood though.

This week I was reading and saw a compairison in "THE FIRE WITHIN" and the compairson was that Gwenodolen is Lucy then who is Gwen?The sentence was formed like this"David thought long and hard and came up with a solucion,if Lucy is gwenodolen and Liz is Gruffen then who is Gwen? bye

Right now I'm reading Drooling and Dangerous the Riot Brothers Return. I compare my behavior to the Riot brothers behavior. The Riot brothers like to fling bugs, dress up as other people, and play practical jokes on people. However I'm not a troublemaker like them. I don't fling bugs, or dress up like other people, and I hardly ever play jokes on people.

in the lightning theif i have been caparing and contrasting about how a half blood and a human are a like. like the half bloods parents(dads) are a olimpion god like zues posiodon and humes. the god of the sky (Zues) the god of the sea(posidon) and the under world is hades.there kids are half god and half human then ho ever there dad is then they get the power of that. And then humans are just rerguler people with no destany.And they both whae are a kid you can be a kid

I read a book called Spiderwick Chronicals to day and the brithers are alike because they both are scared of things. They are different because they dont do the same things every day.

In the story Winn-Dixie, both the Pick a Quick store and the church have a preacher. The church in this story uses lawn chairs instead of a normal church that uses pews.

I was reading Diary of a Wimpy Kid Dog Days. One boy Greg and his older brother are different because Greg is weak and his brother is so strong. One way they are alike is that they are both brothers.
