Describe one generalization you noticed in a book you’re reading at home.

Remember, generalizations often include key words such as all, most, many, none, usually, never.

Use the following post as an example:

This weekend I was reading a women's magazine and noticed that most of the articles were about cooking and shopping. The editors of the magazine must think that ALL women like cooking and shopping, but I don't think that is always true.

I am reading the book A Year Down Yonder and in the book the grandmother orders her granddaughter a pair of shoes. They order gunmetal gray shoes because they will go with everything. This is a generalization because it uses the word "everything". The shoes might not really go with everything therefor this is a faulty generalization.
